ELLIE BARONE
ACTOR/SINGER
Ellie Barone is an actor/singer and a graduate of UNCSA’s prestigious BFA Drama program. In addition to their passion for the performing arts, they are a short-film producer, songwriter, and collector of rare plants (which they somehow keep alive against all odds).
Ellie initially trained to be a professional classical singer before a required high school theatre class changed their entire career trajectory with a single round of 'Zip Zap Zop’. The ‘acting bug, ’ as they say, is a lifelong diagnosis. They have appeared on STARZ, HBO, NBC, Netflix, Amazon Prime, and in countless professional theatre productions.
Ellie is wholeheartedly committed to making and inhabiting art that inspires joy, empathy, and understanding in the world. The arts matter.
Next up: Ellie is a proud company member of Paper Mill Playhouse’s production of BULL DURHAM, running Oct 2nd-Nov 2nd.
